What is HLR?
HLR stands for "Home Location Register," the network database that contains the details of each customer's SIM card. When a customer wishes to access a service, the network checks the HLR to see if the customer is authorized to do so.
It also keeps track of customer locations so that incoming calls and SMS messages can be connected.
