What is an intrusion detection system?

An intrusion detection system is an alarm system, consisting of various devices that signal an unauthorized intrusion into a building or protected area.
Among the types of installations we find:

1) wire systems, also known as wired or cabled systems;
2) wireless systems, without wires or via radio;
3) hybrid systems incorporate radio technology with wired technology.
The various types of installation differ from each other only for the method of signal transfer between the various devices making up the installation.
