What is a GPS tracker?

The GPS tracker is an innovative device of the latest generation capable of monitoring and tracking the movements of objects or people via GPS (Global Positioning System) signals and integrated electronic chips that manage data received via GSM/GPRS mobile phone network. The localized position and related data are then transmitted to one or more mobile devices equipped with SMS or MMS messaging and containing the geographical coordinates data, which are then decoded and tracked on PC/monitor/applications, thanks to specifically dedicated software.
